About Me!

The name Mrs. Juarez is new to me as well! I just got married a little over two months ago. My husband is a Marine who is stationed in Cross Lanes which is what brought us here all the way from Wilmington, North Caroline where I was born and raised.

I love cats and coffee! I have two dogs and one precious cat. My favorite color as you will see from our classroom is blue!

I fell in love with teaching first grade my student teaching year of college and I am so excited to be in my dream grade here in West Virginia! I can’t wait to learn and grow with you and your students.

Welcome!

Welcome to the first week of first grade! I am so excited to have each and every one of you as a  part of my class. The first few weeks we will be getting to know each other and practicing routines. It is so important to lay a solid foundation so we can have a successful year of learning! Also if your student has a change in transportation please send a note to school with them so I can let the office know as soon as possible . Below I will also list the schedule for our weekly resources. Please make sure your student wears the appropriate shoes on P.E. day. I am looking forward to a great year! Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am here to help.

Mon.-  P.E.
Tues.-  Tech
Wed.- Art
Thurs.- P.E.

Fri.- Music

Homework will be sent home at the beginning of each week and due every Friday. It will not take long but it is important for you to sit down with your student and make sure they are getting it done. There will be one weekly math and reading assignment as well as spelling practice for spelling tests on Friday!

Reminders!
Please send back all forms that need to be signed. These are very important.

Class Dojo
Please join our class DOJO! This will be mainly used for a way for you to communicate with me about your student. Our I class behavior system will be a little different, but I will still use dojo for communication purposed and every now and then to keep you updated on the wonderful things your students are doing in class! I will send home how to join in folders.
